- 1/2 kg Beef Qeema
- 20 green chilli chopped
- 2 onion slices
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Whole spices
- 4-5 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp whole zeera
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/2 lemon juice ðŸ‹
- Oil for cooking
- Garnishing
- leaves Green coriander
- Ginger Julienne cut
Instructions to make to make Hari Mirch Qeema 😋
- Cut thin slices of onion. Take a karahi and add oil. Heat up oil add zeera, cinnamon stick, cloves and make it splatter.
- Add onion and fry till light golden brown colour. Then add qeema, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and mix well.
- Cover it with lid and cook for 10 minutes.
- In the mean while take chillies. Wash it and cut it. 4-6 I just keep it whole and did not deseed it because the chillies were not very spicy.
Rest we need to soak it in the water for 15-20 mins. A good tip from Asma syed I received. The spiciness of chilli will get reduced if we soak it in water but the flavor will be there. So just soak it for 20 mins at least. - Add yogurt and mix well. Yogurt will release water. Cook in that water till dries. After drying add green chilli (chopped and whole) and garam masala powder, lemon juice and mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
- Keep frying and make it dry.
- Granish with green coriander leaves and julien ginger and serve hot with roti or naan or paratha 😋😋.
